Book Review
A World of Bees by Eric Tourneret
This book is not just about the diversity of honey-gathering methods but the importance of protecting bees and their natural habitats around the world. Those of you who attended the National Honey Show will have had the opportunity to see Eric Tourneret’s stunning photographs in exhibition and, maybe, even chatted to the author.
Eric began his global exploration of beekeeping traditions in the early 2000s travelling to 20 countries on five continents to record the diversity of honey-gathering methods both ancient and modern.
His book makes a stunning contribution to bee books and could grace any smart coffee table. A great Christmas present for the bee lover.
It is published by Northern Bee Books, Priced £19.95.
