A Message from the Master, October 2024

After the excitement and ceremony of my installation day, at the start of the month, August was a quiet time and allowed me time to reflect and finalise arrangements for my diary and my Master’s outing next year.

However September has been busy. I have represented the Company, with support of others from the Wax Chandlers, at events in other halls, presented candles at St Paul’s cathedral on Holy Cross Day, joined Charity Chairman Frank Cselik at the Charity Volunteer event and participated in the Open House weekend.

All these occasions help raise the profile of the Company in the city and I am honoured to be there as your Master.

As I mentioned at my installation, the focus for me this year is fellowship and philanthropy and so I would love to hear from anyone who has not been able to attend an event and would like them to contact me either by phone, on zoom, or for a coffee(or tea) in the parlour and the  opportunity to chat informally about the company.

In the final three months of 2024 I encourage you to join me at the National Honey Show, I will be there for all three days, or one of our other hall based events.

Master Wax Chandler,

Mrs Lynda Marston-Weston
