Bee Farmers Association
The bee farming industry today is working with the Wax Chandlers through two key projects – the Rowse/Bee Farmers Apprenticeship Scheme and a ground-breaking Knowledge Exchange scheme.
The apprenticeship scheme was set up in 2014 to attract young people to see bee farming as a real career. To date this scheme has created thirty sustainable jobs in the rural economy.
The Knowledge Exchange project aims to improve both productivity and profitable in an industry which is essential to food production throughout the UK – both in terms of pollination services and honey harvests.
